NEW LEADERSHIP CLASS: A strong and vibrant group of agricultural leadership students are meeting regularly throughout Atlantic Canada until March 2008. Seminars and study tours offer an opportunity for class members to focus in a positive environment on developing enhanced leadership skills and a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities of the agricultural sector. Seminars include sessions on team building, media relations, chairing effective meetings, agricultural issues analyses, decision making, interpersonal communications, conflict resolution, persuasive speaking, PowerPoint training, roundtables with industry and government leaders. agri-business tours and more. Their study tours will take them to Ottawa, Washington, DC and Chile.
